Early Summer Favourites

I'm so happy the weather has picked up and it actually feels summery in England! I've been stocking up ready for my travels on beauty products, summer reads and clothes.

1. The bikinis are both Topshop. The pink was via ebay (brand new and never worn just so you know!! Haha) and the black just £15 in the sale.

2. I got a little blank travel notepad that would easily fit in my bag for quick sketches and important things (e.g: ticket numbers, names of places to remember...etc!)

3. My favourite nivea tinted moisturiser.

4. Currently reading Carrie by Stephen King

5. A delicate bracelet I found for 75p at a charity shop in Doncaster.

6. My favourite nail polish at the moment- Rimmel Mary Mary Quite Contrary.

7. A kind of creepy cobra ring I found for £1 at my local charity shop.

8. A cute lace trim floral cami originally from Coast, found at a charity shop in Doncaster for £2.45!

I've been obsessing over american TV series The Vampire Diaries lately.. although it took 5 years to catch on a couple of friends had been recommending it and I am now addicted! especially being an unemployed graduate!

you can't go to bed without a cup of tea, and maybe that's the reason you can't get to sleep

I'm 22 today! Below are some photos from the past week: 1. Nice plants 2. Cool belts 10p each from the jumble sale 3. New blazer (£25 Miss Selfridge!) and today's outfit 4. A couple of other new bits 5. My birthday present!!!! 6. Textile sketchbook.

Today was spent driving around the Peak District, listening to Beyonce, Britney and Taylor Swift and teaching myself DSLR. I have so much uni work to do next week, my dissertation draft deadline is on Friday and I've just started my last ever Textiles project, I'm focusing on Japanese architecture.

It's 3 in the morning, and I'm trying to change your mind.

I am on the look out for a wool boyfriend boxy blazer. Miss Selfridge and Topshop have some perfect ones although due to my student funds I hope to find a cheap one in a charity shop, or maybe the Christmas sales!

Goodbye Warehouse & London!

Yesturday was my last day interning at Warehouse, I still can't believe it's been a year! Although it's been a lot of hard work I've loved it. I worked as a buyer's assistant for Accessories, Soft Wovens & Occasionwear, Jersey and a little bit on Casual Wovens, Beachwear and Suede & Leather. Above are some bits I got in my leaving goody bag! Also, what I wore: tailored dungarees, Warehouse, lace tee: carboot sale, necklace: Warehouse sample sale.

So now it's preparing to return to Leeds for my final year! Within the next few weeks I need to do serious dissertation research, move home/back to Leeds as well as look for a job.. And working at Bestival next week!!
