It's been so so long since I 've bought anything from the High Street, so went abit spend-happy in Topshop. Fake barbour, £30, Map T Shirt, £10, Sequin top, £20 and the floral dress was £15. Though it wasn't too bad as I got abit extra knocked off the price with student discount :)

illustrator workbook

For one of our modules we had to create a 'Workbook' developing our skills on illustrator, these are a few examples of my pages. Although illustrator can be very frustrating I actually kind of enjoyed playing around on it, and I know the skills will be very useful for when go to work in a design office. :)

Mickey, pearls & velvet DIY shorts

Above: earings, £2.50 from a charity shop, mickey jumper, vintage, velvet shorts £3, charity shop..

All alone in Leeds for the moment due to work so spent a day in the center, rummaging in the vintage and charity shops. The shorts were originally trousers, with 70's style flares! I really hate flares so have cut them off and hemmed them.

sewing the invisible, paper dresses

One of the most influential artists I researched for my laser cutting projects is Jum Nakao. He is most famous for his 'Costura da Invisivel' (Sewing the Invisible) collection, a dress collection made entirely of paper. I like the effect the photographer has used in the photos above to create a kind of silent film, ghostly effect.
