I would never wanna belong to any club that would have someone like me for a member

Style Icon: Diane Keaton as Annie Hall, Annie Hall 1977.
I adore the character of Annie Hall, both for her gawky, thrown-together androgyness style (Grammy Hall's tie, classic white shirts and lots of mis-matched layering) and her endearing personality, the fact she's creative and interested in many things yet constantly doubts herself and doesn't believe she's smart enough for Alvy (Woody Allen).

It's 3 in the morning, and I'm trying to change your mind.

I am on the look out for a wool boyfriend boxy blazer. Miss Selfridge and Topshop have some perfect ones although due to my student funds I hope to find a cheap one in a charity shop, or maybe the Christmas sales!
Illustrations by me.

Now it's 3 in the morning, and I'm trying to change your mind

Jenny Packham, Spring 2014
Definitely one of my favourite collections so far. The show starts off with a pop of yellows and bright blues, thew shapes and embellishments make me think of the 1920's and Gatsby. The colours then become more dewy with softer shades of peaches and corals, baby blue and turquoise. It makes me think of fairy tale mermaid princesses, the bottom row of dresses are my favourite, so beautiful and elegant in the intricate detailing and movement.
Top: My brief interpretation of the collection.
Bottom: Screenshots from 'Picnic At Hanging Rock', cult flick around the muses of Packham's collection.

It's been a long long way to heaven

Bestival 2013!
A huge party on the Isle Of Wight, I volunteered as an Oxfam steward, despite have to do 3 long long shifts I still managed to see Bastille, Snoop Dogg, Franz Ferdinand, Tom Odell & abit of James Blake for free! I couldn't think of a better way to end the Summer, I can't believe it's back to uni soon and Autumn! Working with Oxfam was an amazing experience, I met so many friendly people and hopefully I will see some again next year for Glastonbury. :) I hope everyone has had an awesome summer!

Goodbye Warehouse & London!

Yesturday was my last day interning at Warehouse, I still can't believe it's been a year! Although it's been a lot of hard work I've loved it. I worked as a buyer's assistant for Accessories, Soft Wovens & Occasionwear, Jersey and a little bit on Casual Wovens, Beachwear and Suede & Leather. Above are some bits I got in my leaving goody bag! Also, what I wore: tailored dungarees, Warehouse, lace tee: carboot sale, necklace: Warehouse sample sale.

So now it's preparing to return to Leeds for my final year! Within the next few weeks I need to do serious dissertation research, move home/back to Leeds as well as look for a job.. And working at Bestival next week!!
