Leeds was amazing, favourites were The Black Keys, Foo Fighters, Kasabian, Crystal Castles, Foster The People & Jake Bugg. The weather was also suprisingly good for Yorkshire, I actually got a tan haha. 

Most of the London photos were taken in Nottinghill, such a beautiful area of the city. I've finally got my house sorted and will be moving the the big city this Saturday!

Above: dress £7 in H&M sale. I love the elegantly fitting shape and the lace, and the fact its so versatile. I think I'd wear it with wedges on a night out or military boots, a barbour-esq coat and light cotton scarf during the day.

My Leeds fest weekend ticket arrive yesturday! I'm already planning outfits inspired by above collage. My favourite icons are Chloe Sevigny & Agyness Deyn.

Above: illustrations of street style inspiration. what i love most about working in fashion retail is people watching, noticing which trends and key pieces seem to be the most popular. The other day I noticed so many young women wearing mid length skirts, particularly jersey, slightly more fitted ones. I love the combination of clumpy shoes+ awkward 'dorky' length.

DIY Distressed Shorts

These were originally full length jeans from a carboot.. about 50p or something. I basically cut and frayed the edges, went bleach happy and de-studded an old belt, taking inspiration from the studded denim shorts at Topshop, UO..

I've bought a tonne of work/smart clothes lately, below are my beige, suede lace up wedges from Topshop £15 in the sale wahoooo :-) as well as lots of other sale bits and pieces.
